About this speaker
Jess envisions a world of healthy choices and opportunities for all animals, humans included.
One with no more child labor, sweatshops, animal abuse and testing, dangerous pandemics and harmful pesticides, GMOs and chemicals on the foods, clothes, meds and products we consume.
And a world without poverty, racism, hate and war.
All she wants is to help create a kinder, healthier and abundant world for all life on Earth.
Does she believe in fairy dust? Absolutely. She also believes in the power of people and our ability to create change together.
In 1991, Jess received her marketing degree at USC (Univ. of SC). After working for an indie record label in Atlanta, she moved to Germany in 1995 and has been there ever since.
After leading marketing teams for two IT software companies in Germany, she started her voiceover business in 2013, founded Ethical Brand Marketing in 2018 and published her first eco fantasy book, Lily Bowers and the Uninvited Guest in 2019.
With a strong upbringing of respecting Mother Nature and all she takes care of, she knows that we can only survive as a species if we rewild our beautiful planet Earth and learn to live with nature.
This means living and running our businesses in a mindful, ethical and eco-friendly way which is why she set up all three businesses to help reach these three Sustainable Development Goals, defined by the United Nations: #13 (Climate action), #14 (Life under water) and #15 (Life on land).
As a member of 1% for the Planet and several other environmental-protecting organizations, she, her readers and clients are already making an impact. See more here: https://ethicalbrandmarketing.com/impact.

I published this book on April 24, 2019: World Day for Laboratory Animals and when you read it, you'll understand why!
It's the first of a series to show children they really can change the world and make a difference. And save animals. Set in Reinhardswald, where the Brothers Grimm once traveled, Lily Bowers discovers she has an incredible gift -- she can talk to animals.
But she also finds out she has a huge challenge!
Great as a holiday gift for your whole family. I wrote it for middle-graders but am finding that many parents and grandparents are enjoying it just as much!
On November 27 at 6pm CET, 12pm EST, join me and others while I offer a <a href="https://www.eventbrite.com/e/meet-lily-bowers-saving-the-planet-and-animals-with-her-superpower-tickets-128866018731" target="_blank">FREE live book reading and Q&A session</a>.
I chose this day because Black Friday, Cyber Monday + co enable excessive and unnecessary consumerism which add to the destruction of our planet.
So, in support of the #ShopEthicalInstead campaign, I'm reading a part of my book to provide an alternative to shopping and offer the digital version for a reduced price. <a href="https://www.eventbrite.com/e/meet-lily-bowers-saving-the-planet-and-animals-with-her-superpower-tickets-128866018731" target="_blank">Save your spot here!</a>
